Sustainability

Wright pastoral’s commitment to Sustainability.

Over many years, we have watched the climate and our natural environment continue to change. As the custodians of the land, our generation must constantly evolve with it. It is important for us to continue looking out over the horizon, with a passion for learning and adapting to new ways on working.

Wright Pastoral is committed to the principles of regenerative agriculture by protecting and restoring the biodiversity in the Australian landscape.

Our team seeks out the industry's best practices, while taking a market-leading approach, to ensure we leave the land better than we found it.

Regenerative Agriculture

We manage our landscapes with intent — using cattle as tools to heal the land. Through rotational grazing and natural hoof action, we improve soil structure, boost fertility, and support healthy grasslands that can regenerate year after year.

Environmental Impact

Every decision we make is with the future in mind. From water management to soil health and carbon sequestration, we actively reduce our footprint while improving the productivity and resilience of our farms.

Restoring Biodiversity

We see biodiversity not as a bonus, but as essential. Our paddocks support a wide variety of grasses, insects, birds and native wildlife — all working in balance to create stronger, more self-sustaining ecosystems.

Regenerative agriculture places cattle at the centre of building healthier, more resilient farming systems.

Through well-managed grazing, improved pasture management, soil restoration and the return of organic matter to the land, our breeding herd play a vital role in improving soil health enhancing biodiversity improving water infiltration and supporting long term productivity.

By working with natural ecosystems rather than against them, regenerative farming aims to produce premium Wagyu beef while strengthening the environmental, economic and social sustainability of the landscape.
