Our Story.

Wright Pastoral is led by a fifth-generation Australian farming family specialising in the production of Full-Blood and Cross-Bred Wagyu cattle.

Wright Pastoral is the custodian of four properties geographically spread across New South Wales for a strategic natural advantage.

Our aim is to be in Australia’s top 1% of Wagyu producers for high-marbling Wagyu Beef.

Wright Pastoral is extremely proud of its rich Australian history. They are excited to maintain the Wright family legacy of caring for a unique landscape, while continuing to breed, background and produce quality, high-marbling Wagyu Beef for consumers across Australia and around the World.

The Wright’s have been grazing since the 1800s, initially in the Goomburra Valley near Warwick, Queensland. The Wright family have always tended to their cattle and their land with a focus on progressive herd and environmental management.

The Family’s history in retail beef sales dates back to the early 1900s, with the opening of Arhern and O’Grady Butcher shops in Warwick.
